Elijah Carlton
Elijah Carlton is the head coach of Southside Kuzushi Club and one of the most accomplished Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu athletes in the region. A 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu black belt under Sean Applegate, Elijah has earned a reputation as a dangerous submission grappler with a creative, technical, and highly effective style. His accomplishments include PGF Champion honors, an ADCC Open silver medal, and three High Rollerz Absolute championships.
Elijah’s success in the Professional Grappling Federation has made him a standout name in competitive submission grappling. His PGF resume includes multiple regular season and playoff championship honors, with PGF listing him as a Season 1 Regular Season Champion, Season 1 Playoff Champion, Season 3 Regular Season Champion, Season 5 Regular Season Champion, and Season 5 Playoff Champion. PGF also lists his all-seasons record at 79-7-21 with a 98.7% finish rate, showing the consistency and finishing ability that define his competitive game.
As a coach, Elijah brings that same high-level experience to his students. Whether teaching fundamentals, advanced submission systems, positional control, or competition strategy, his goal is to help every student build real skill and confidence on the mats.
